CRYSTAL QUEST® Reverse Osmosis/Ultrafiltration systems available at  11 to 17 stages - the number varying with model of Reverse Osmosis/Ultrafiltration system that CRYSTAL QUEST® offers. CRYSTAL QUEST® Reverse Osmosis/Ultrafiltration systems produce up to 100  gallons of top quality water per day and remove up to 99.9% of undesirable contaminants and filter particles as small as 1/1000 of a micron by forcing untreated water through a semi-permeable membrane. Pressure forces the water to flow in the reverse direction to the direction of flow in natural osmosis.

CRYSTAL QUEST® Reverse Osmosis/Ultrafiltration systems have compact designs that can easily fit beneath the kitchen sink. Supplied with a complete installation kit that includes a European lead-free long-reach designer faucet, CRYSTAL QUEST® 4 gallons  steel pressurized holding tank, all interconnecting color-coded tubing, filter cartridges, Ultrafiltration membrane, RO membrane, and installation hardware for easy installation.

Water travels through 12 stages of filtration:
• In stage 1, Water travels through a 5 micron solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds (VOC's), insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents and traps particles larger than 5 micron including sediment, silt, sand and dirt. It also helps to extend the life of the system.
• In stage 2, water passes through a 0.2 micron Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane. Ultrafiltration (UF) is an important purification technology used for the production of high-purity water. UF is effective for the removal of colloids, proteins, bacteria, viruses, parasites, protozoa and pyrogens (e.g., gram-negative bacterial endotoxins), other organic molecules larger than 0.2 micron, and most other water contaminants known today.
