Why Test Your Water?

Protect Your Health

Contaminants such as lead, arsenic, bacteria, or nitrates can be invisible to the eye and tasteless in the glass, yet still pose significant health risks over time. Testing your water provides the reassurance that what you and your family are drinking is safe, and alerts you quickly if action is needed.

Identify Taste, Odor, or Staining Issues

Unpleasant tastes, unusual odors, or visible staining on sinks, laundry, and fixtures often point to minerals or organic matter in your water. Testing helps identify the root cause—whether it’s iron, tannins, sulfur, or another contaminant—so you can address the problem and enjoy fresh, clean water again.

Monitor Plumbing and Infrastructure

As plumbing systems age, pipes and fixtures can corrode or break down, leaching metals like lead or copper into your water. Even modern homes aren’t immune, since fittings and solder may still contain trace contaminants. A water test provides a clear picture of whether your plumbing is affecting water quality.

Verify Water Treatment Systems

Filtration systems, water softeners, and reverse osmosis units are designed to protect you—but only if they’re functioning properly. Routine testing confirms your system is removing contaminants as intended and ensures you’re getting the full benefit of your investment in clean water.
