These cartridges are manufactured from a mixed blend of coconut shell GAC, catalytic carbon GAC, and ERA® 6500. They are an excellent choice to reduce the taste and odor of unwanted chlorine and chloramines. Coconut shell GAC reduces VOCs better than standard GAC cartridges from potable drinking water. Catalytic carbon GAC reduces more of the chloramines taste and odor. Eagle Redox Alloy 6500 prevents bacterial growth while enhancing the performance of GAC.

These cartridges contain a combination of special Arsnic-selective resin, specifically designed to filter Arsenic V and Arsenic III, Eagle Redox Alloy® 6500, Eagle Redox Alloy® 9500, and Shell GAC media.
Arsenic (As) is not easily dissolved in water. Therefore, if it is found in a water supply, it usually comes from mining, metallurgical operations or runoff from agricultural areas where materials containing arsenic were used as industrial poisons. Arsenic in water has no taste, odor or color. Arsenic and phosphate easily substitute for one another chemically; therefore commercial grade phosphate can have some arsenic in it. Arsenic is highly toxic and has been classified by the EPA as a carcinogen. These cartridges contain an Arsenic-selective Resin specifically designed to filter Arsenic V and Arsenic III.
