Eagle 2000 Magnet for Scale Build Up - A neodymium magnet (also known as NdFeB magnet or Neo magnet), a type of rare-earth magnet, is a permanent magnet made from an alloy of neodymium, iron, and boron to form the Nd2Fe14B tetragonal crystalline structure. This material is currently the strongest type of permanent magnet and is useful for many applications.
How does magnetic water treatment work? - With magnetic water treatment, a ring of neodymium magnets on a riser tube in the filter system directs water to pass through a strong, uniform magnetic field.
Magnetic water treatment does not remove any calcium from the water. The TDS of water will remain unchanged but the ion makeup of the water hardness converts. Studies have shown that the structure of the water hardness (lime or chalk) changes, making these substances less apt to adhere to surfaces.
