The process of our salt-free water softener media is template-assisted crystallization. This process has been tested and certified for scale reduction.

The process takes hard water (calcium and magnesium) and transforms the ions into microscopic nanocrystals. This suspends the particles so that they cannot “stick” or cause scale while the water travels through.  Eagle® Soft Salt-Free Softeners do not add anything or remove anything from the water, retaining the important naturally occurring minerals, especially calcium and magnesium.

Some selected municipalities have banned the use of salt-based water softeners. Eagle® Soft Salt-Free Softeners do not discharge saline water into the environment, pipes or water heaters and require virtually no maintenance or residual costs.

Most American households have hard water. Find out below how your geographical area rates and how we can help you overcome your hard water problem.
