Seems Good
It’s hard to know how well it works since it’s only been a couple weeks, but so far, I don’t see any buildup or sediment. The only thing is that I am paranoid of overtightening and breaking it since it did happen already (the company was great resolving this!!!) so it has a mild drip after adjusting the Teflon tape to make it fit better. I’d like it to be a little better constructed in that way, to prevent breakage or leaking, but I think it seems good. And it seems like it would definitely filter larger particles, which would really save the main filters.
Above Sink Stainless Water Filter Unit
Assembly was easy. Installation went exactly as the directions indicated. We took this with us to Ecuador to assure the water we were using would be safe. We’ve been here since 12/4 and so far we are all good. So, I suspect this is doing exactly what we need it to do. Thank you! The one complaint I have is there seems to be a leak at the very tip where the tube expands in diameter to what I call the nozzle. I thought about trying to tighten it with a pair of pliers but didn’t want to risk scratching it. Is this normal for the water to leak at the point? What do you recommend I do to assure this leaking stops?
