Crystal Quest® mixed bed DI industrial grade cartridges are a useful tool used with water that is high in mineral content and provide it at the exact point of use. Deionized/demineralized water is used in industrial applications such as circuit board manufacturing and in laboratories where ion free water is needed. Deionized/demineralized water is not normally used for drinking water use.

These cartridges contain a combination of special Arsnic-selective resin, specifically designed to filter Arsenic V and Arsenic III, Eagle Redox Alloy® 6500, Eagle Redox Alloy® 9500, and Shell GAC media.
Arsenic (As) is not easily dissolved in water. Therefore, if it is found in a water supply, it usually comes from mining, metallurgical operations or runoff from agricultural areas where materials containing arsenic were used as industrial poisons. Arsenic in water has no taste, odor or color. Arsenic and phosphate easily substitute for one another chemically; therefore commercial grade phosphate can have some arsenic in it. Arsenic is highly toxic and has been classified by the EPA as a carcinogen. These cartridges contain an Arsenic-selective Resin specifically designed to filter Arsenic V and Arsenic III.
