What should I know first?

Choose Katalox Light for water with iron, manganese, or hydrogen sulfide (rotten-egg odor). Review a water test, including pH, to confirm suitability. Match the quantity to your filter tank’s recommended media volume, allowing space for expansion during backwashing. Before replacing another media, confirm system compatibility and that your water supply can provide the required backwash flow.

Residential addresses in the lower 48 US states. Excludes business addresses, commercial and industrial systems (which ship by freight), and filter media sold by the bag or cubic foot.

Katalox Light Filtration Media - is a versatile filtration media designed for advanced water treatment. It effectively removes iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, color, and odors, while also reducing arsenic, zinc, copper, lead, radium, uranium, and other heavy metals and radionuclides.

Removal methods:
