Silica Removal Trapp XT™ Media
Trapp XT is a high-purity magnesium oxide (MgO) media engineered by Watch Water® for advanced removal of silica, phosphates, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), heavy metals, and other contaminants from water. Formed into granular porous beads, Trapp XT works through physical adsorption and ion exchange. Contaminants are captured on the media’s surface area and macrospores, making it especially effective against dissolved and colloidal silica that typical filters miss.
With 99.99% pure MgO and calcium oxide, Trapp XT also naturally raises pH without the use of chemicals, helping reduce corrosion and scale buildup. Safe, non-toxic, and NSF/WQA certified, this media is ideal for use in both drinking water and wastewater treatment systems.
