Deteriorating shipping practices and customer service

We have been Crystal Quest customers for over two years now and have seen the quality of your shipping practices deteriorate. When we first were purchasing from you, our media came in heavy plastic bags inside of sturdy plastic (sheetrock-type) pails; then a few weeks ago an order came in heavy plastic bags inside of cardboard boxes; and our last order came in very thin (and torn!) plastic bags inside of cardboard. We had ordered both SMART media and the pH neutralizing blend as well as the pre- and post-filters, and the SMART media spilled during shipping into the box and even worked its way underneath the plastic wrap that was protecting the filters: each of them! When we called to talk to customer service about recommendations for using the media, we brought up our concern about the packaging. Neither of the reps we talked to were sympathetic to our concerns with the shipping, putting all the blame on the shipping company (when it was, in fact, due to the poor quality plastic used in your shipping department!), and reluctantly promising that a supervisor would call us back the same day. That was a couple weeks ago and the call has never come. We have experienced very spotty customer service over the two years we have dealt with you, but this was clearly the worst we have had.
