Included cartridges

  1. Remove the aerator from the end of your faucet.
  2. Check your faucet threads. Outside threads need no adapter; inside threads need the adapter that fits from the included sizes.
  3. If you need an adapter, fit it with its washer and screw it into the faucet by hand.
  4. Screw the diverter onto the faucet until tight, with the filter sitting to the left of the faucet.
  5. Turn on the cold water about one third of the way and turn the diverter handle on for filtered water.
  6. Run water for 5 minutes to flush the new cartridge, then for 1 to 2 seconds before each use.
  7. Use cold water only and keep the flow at 0.30 gallon per minute or less for the best filtration.
  8. Use the diverter to switch between filtered and unfiltered water as needed.

Order by 3:00 PM Eastern on a business day and most filters, cartridges and smaller items leave our facility that same day. Standard residential systems ship within 1 to 2 business days, and whole house, custom and specialty systems typically within 3. So far in 2026, 95% of our orders have shipped within one business day and 99% within five (based on an internal review of our order records).

Once shipped, standard delivery typically arrives in 3 days to the Southeast, Northeast and Southwest, and in 4 days to the Midwest and the West. Need it sooner? UPS 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air are available at checkout for eligible products. Systems that ship by freight can take longer and may need a delivery appointment.

30-day returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery when:

  • The item is new and unused, in its original packaging, with no damaged or missing parts.
  • You ask us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before you send it back.
  • You pay for return shipping. Shipping, handling and restocking fees apply.

Filter cartridges, membranes, reverse osmosis systems, custom or special orders and commercial products cannot be returned.
